Dianna Wynne Jones has left us.
The woman who gave us the Howl's Moving Castle series, the Chrestomanci series and The Tough Guide To Fantasyland has passed on. The fantasy genre will never be the same again.

What? I... I think I'm going to cry a bit.
This would be a good time to celebrate her life and work by comparing favorite works of hers, but I'm going to need a little time for the news to sink in before I'm ready for that.

Never heard of her before this but have heard of those series. Will take a look at her works.

The Tough Guide To Fantasyland is possibly the greatest resource for fantasy writers in the universe. I was always hoping for another book in that vein, but... *sniff*
I just can't believe she's gone.
