Life? Life has been quite fulfilling as of late. I don't own a car anymore. I walk or bike or take the bus. It's all very ecologically friendly and healthy. =)
. . . but I miss the power. o_o;
120 horsepower at tip of my toes, lurching at the flash of a green light, screaming in the dark at 100mph with headlights blazing like the eyes of demon HELL FIRE!
*cough*
-- no, I don't miss it one bit.
But other than that, simply learning the fundamentals of responsible adulthood. So, what new and exciting enterprises have you embarked on lately? |

Hey, great to hear. =)
Walking is indeed good for the body and mind, and occasionally the ego. (Nothing beats strolling right past a line of backed up cars in a traffic jam. Bwahaa.)
New and exciting...? Well, I just moved for the first time in 9 years, which was somehow not scary or stressful at all. Go figure. Loving my new place (same price as my old one, but bigger and better in every way), and enjoying the handy walking/biking path nearby.
Aside from that... not much to report! Writing, drawing, diabolical plotting, unraveling the mysteries of independent income... business as usual.
If you figure out the secret of responsible adulthood, you'll let me know, won't you? _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Congratulations on your new place. It's coming on to a year since I moved into my place, and it feels both weird and assuring knowing for the first time I don't have to move out by the end of the year.
And the rent's not bad either.
Now, secrets I can impart to you . . . eating home is cheaper than eating out. When you're cold wear a sweater instead of turning up the thermostat. When your washing machine breaks and your can't afford to fix it, wash your clothes in the bathtub. Replace all the bulbs in the house with energy efficient ones to save money (for important emergencies like fixing your broken washer). Grow a tomato plant (just trust me on this one).
And remember to smile.
But don't stare. o_o |

Excellent. Excellent. Arigatou, Jack-sensei.
