It's been a while since I last painted anything in a Fantasy CRPG portrait style, so...

Fatima the vaguely arabic mercenary.

Migg the Half-Orc.

I thought about writing down the bios I've dreamt up for these charcters, but it'd probably have wound up in "tl;dr" territory, so screw it.

What's the deal with Migg's hair? Is Migg the Swedish word for Mosquito?

While painting this, the sneer reminded me slightly of AC/DC's Bon Scott as he appears on the cover of Highway to Hell, so I decided to give him a similar hairstyle just for the hell of it.
But I ended making it an unkempt, eye covering fringe instead, because I thought it would be interesting if the charcter's eyes are hidden most of the time, be it by the fringe or a flat cap or something.
I'da know, something about non-visble eyes coupled with a lower class British accent (which is what he speaks in) just felt right for some reason.

Also, the Swedish word for mosquito is "mygg". "Migg" is just a slightly more unsavory-sounding version of "Mick" (I guess it's used more in the UK).

Fatima is very ... androgynous. It doesn't help that Fatima is a girl's name. Her hair (I'll assume it's a she) is very realistic. Before I had scrolled down to see the full image, I had thought you posted photographs.

I also like the way you include your signature in the images. The tattoo on Migg's neck is a nice touch.

Fatima, is definitely not a girly girl, although I'd have hoped that she didn't look like a dude. Meh, I guess aging middle eastern women can look sort of mannish sometimes, so it still works out.

Well, the eyes (brows, lashes, etc) and the lips give her a female appearance while the rest of the face is sort of man-ish.

Ah, that's actually what I was aiming for concerning her appearance; late thirties to early forties, with features that could be called handsome rather than conventionally beautiful.

Migg looks pretty bad-ass actually, I can just imagine him sneering down on some foe he's just beaten into the ground without even breaking a sweat.

And the tattoo is indeed awesome. *jealous*

Man. I don't know why I like Migg so much, but he looks awesome. Great expression (and nice perspective on the killer chin). I can practically hear the accent. Cheese!

I try to incorporate my Prince-symbol into my artworks seamlessly whenever possible. Good thing to know it's appreciated :D

A lil' bonus doodle of Migg, since he seems to be quite well liked:

Also, I monkeyed around with Fatima's face a bit. Slightly less mighty chin now.
