Oh man, that is one majorly awesome Cthulhu! And the other two requests are pretty damn spiffy as well :3
Man, I'm glad I was just in time to snatch one of these spots... It'll be a lovely addiction to my collection of TM related requests/commissions :3 _________________ Goth, 'e cuz bee shown 'n!

Oh man, I could have had sexy Cthulhu?

Seriously though, that's an awesome take on a classic monster. _________________

Thanks! I've always wanted to draw some Cthulhu fan art.
Tentacles + bat wings + nondescript amorphous horror = lots of room for artistic license. ♥
And here's alliisara's sketch! _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Man, The Sparkle Rats by Alfred Hitchaja would have been AWESOME. Maybe next year. (Or maybe she'll think it's awesome enough to do anyway, y'know, on the side. ) I can't wait to see these! =D |
I will gladly trade in my slot to see that. I've missed my chance for the past three years to get this request in and I am fully prepared to try again next. I don't have any other creative requests, so there's not a chance I will forget this one. Yet, I don't recall ever wanting any color in the image before now--it was probably the excitement of being around for the chance this time--so I suppose I inadvertently end up making the request a little more demanding as time passes.
So, Aja... you call these "sketches." They evolve more and more beyond that term every year. By next year, at this rate, your fans will be getting freebies that would normally be worth $70. Your work is pretty fantastic. |

I agree! They were great before, but this year they are truly amazing ♥
But, to be fair, even though I've happily paid for my previous commissions, and think you ask very fair prices for your art, I am not in the least bit sorry about this development since I'm poor now _________________ Goth, 'e cuz bee shown 'n!

Thanks, Kayran. :D I'm glad they seem to be turning out better every year. (It's nice to keep finding shading cheat-- er, shortcuts... so that there's time to try extra things like spot colors.)
And here's Saint Cy's sketch! _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

KitFang, are trying to say that you are me?
Because it's the first time I've read The Three Musketeers as well. |
Just read the first page of posts and I did a mental spit-take. Guess which book I am reading on a borrowed first-edition Kindle. Never read it before, either. |

I'm about 3/4ths the way through the book.
I'm constantly amazed by how utterly contemptible the heroes are compared to their movie counterparts. I mean, they're all such dicks.
It's kind of amazing. _________________
